(NOTE: wool felt is different than "felted wool" used in wool appliqué - wool felt is "wool fibers pressed and felted together" - felted wool is woven then washed and felted. - each has unique qualities and purposes. Wool felt has been used for teddy bear paws for over 100 years . . . Felted wool is most often used for rug hooking, wool appliqué and penny rugs!)
