Witchy Witchy Dolly Dolly ~ Original Work 7.25"

This "Dolly Pincushion" is created from a lovely little antique china head. Alas, she was "just a head", so I had to build her a body and find her some little arms!
Then I used a wire to make her arms posable too!
She has just the sweetest face and hairstyle.
This pincushion is inspired by dolly pincushions from long ago. (especially a non-witch one in my own collection ;-)
Her body is antique cotton and her skirt is black wool. I made 2 peplums for her sides of a lovely early cotton, and an apron from antique linens.
There are so many details . . . stitching decorates the bottom and back and a tiny thread spool, teeny pumpkin and stork scissors hang from her waist.
Due to her hairstyle a witch hat doesn't stay on well . . . but she wears a woolen witch hat tied at her neck.
She's nicely weighted.
