This Witch is such a Doll ~ Original Work ~ 6.5"

This "Dolly Pincushion" is created from a lovely little antique china head. Alas, she was "just a head", so I had to build her a body and find her some little arms!
She has just the sweetest face and her hairstyle is a bit of a triangle.
This pincushion is inspired by dolly pincushions from long ago. Her body and skirt are black wool. I made 2 peplums for her sides of a lovely early cotton, and an apron from antique linens. Her shawl is also cut from an antique one. A lovely antique button is at her waist too.
There are so many details . . . stitching decorates the bottom and back and a tiny spool and stork scissors hang from her waist.
Due to her hairstyle a witch hat doesn't stay on well . . . but she wears it tied at her neck.
She's nicely weighted.
