About shipping and making :

I am so sad for artisans and friends who live in other countries and hope to sell their wonderful items to us. (Sewing arts stitch this world together in so many ways!)
Tariffs are affecting even the smallest things we wouldn't think of.
I'm sad even for myself as many of the wonderful threads and supplies I purchase are only made overseas. Wool threads from Italy, the sharpest scissors from Japan and most mohair is from Germany or overseas. Costs are rising or becoming prohibitive, some supplies even becoming unavailable. For now I'm quite stocked, and as I use many vintage supplies I can keep making and making. But it worries me still!

We've counted for eons on being able to send a package anywhere in the world, and to receive a package from anywhere at a somewhat reasonable cost.
It seems at least for now this wonderful link we had is broken or become more expensive than we can bear. (pun intended ;-)

I'm just sad about these things, but I'll keep stitching to soothe my soul.

*** I am still shipping within the US only. I do truly apologize, but at this time international shipping is most often not trackable or insurable unless it's Priority or Express which is prohibitively expensive & now it seems our costs will be going up even further again.
I hope one day to find a solution.
