Kitty Love ~ Original Work ~ 6" x 6" overall

This sweet little kitten is all nestled into an antique early shaker sewing basket.
Kitty is about 6" and created from beige viscose. She is fully jointed and nicely weighted. She wears a little scarf of antique fabric with the sweetest teeny lace trim!
The basket is so finely woven and for its age is in lovely condition. I chose to leave the lid un-attached as it displays better this way. The little bows are fragile, but fully original. The bottom is lined with red silk too!
Nestled into the basket with Kitty are 3 heart pinkies from the most wonderful very early "cheater cloth" cotton. This fabric was printed to look like a quilt, with scenes inserted too. Here the scenes are sailors and soldiers with their sweethearts! (Perfect for Valentine's day of course) Another small heart is attached to the basket top.
A tiny spool of thread hangs at the side and a little pair of pretend scissors is tucked in.
Oh, and a Dresden trim that says "To My Valentine" is also on the lid.
About 6" x 6" overall.
